Agora is built and run by senior practitioners. The people listed below are the ones you engage when you engage Agora - there is no leverage pyramid behind them. Every client engagement is supervised by a named co-founder with current UK regulated-markets experience.
Ian Marley
Co-founder
Ian is a co-founder of Agora Consulting Solutions. He brings senior practitioner experience across UK financial crime and regulated change programmes, leading delivery for tier-one banks, challenger banks and specialist lenders. At Agora his focus is on the operating model around the Due Diligence Platform - how regulated firms adopt it, how it lands inside an MLRO's organisation, and how it stands up to supervisory scrutiny. He writes and reviews the practitioner guidance published in the Financial Crime Knowledge Hub.
Patrick Stones
Co-founder
Patrick is a co-founder of Agora Consulting Solutions. He combines deep RegTech build experience with hands-on financial-crime delivery, and is responsible for the architecture of the Due Diligence Platform - the fourteen-module engine, its integrations with Companies House and the Charity Commission, the L1 rule layer, and the in-platform AI SME and Outreach Portal capabilities.
Published practitioner guidance
The team publishes source-backed guidance for UK regulated firms in the Financial Crime Knowledge Hub, including concise UK CDD and KYC regulatory answers and theUK CDD Automation Benchmark 2026, now collecting responses.
How we work
Each engagement is led by one of the named co-founders above. Implementation is five working days; the contract is the work. Agora is a technology provider: we build, configure and support the platform, and your own teams operate it and hold the accountable decisions.
