Modern Slavery Statement

Financial year ending 31st December 2024

    Introduction

This statement is made pursuant to section 54(1) of the Modern Slavery Act 2015 and constitutes Agora Consulting Solutions' slavery and human trafficking statement for the financial year ending 31st December 2024.

Agora Consulting Solutions is committed to acting ethically and with integrity in all business relationships and to implementing effective systems and controls to prevent slavery and human trafficking in our operations and supply chains.

    Organisational Structure

Agora Consulting Solutions Limited is a UK-incorporated regulatory technology firm building and operating the Due Diligence Platform - a fourteen-module Customer Due Diligence engine for regulated financial-services firms. We are headquartered in London and operate primarily in the United Kingdom.

Our business model is the development and operation of a single, AI-augmented Due Diligence platform delivered as a SaaS subscription to UK and international regulated financial-services firms. We are a technology provider; the platform is operated by our clients' own teams.

    Supply Chain

Our supply chain consists primarily of technology providers, software vendors, professional services firms, and office suppliers. Given our focus on financial crime prevention and compliance, we work exclusively with reputable suppliers who share our commitment to ethical business practices.

We maintain a zero-tolerance approach to slavery and human trafficking in our supply chains and require all suppliers to comply with our ethical standards and applicable laws.

    Policies and Procedures

We have implemented comprehensive policies and procedures to prevent modern slavery, including:

    • Anti-slavery and human trafficking policy
    • Supplier code of conduct requiring compliance with modern slavery legislation
    • Whistleblowing policy enabling confidential reporting of concerns
    • Due diligence procedures for new suppliers and business partners

    Risk Assessment

Given the nature of our business in financial crime prevention and compliance, we assess the risk of modern slavery in our operations and supply chain as low. However, we remain vigilant and conduct regular risk assessments to identify any potential areas of concern.

Our risk assessment process includes evaluation of suppliers, geographic risk factors, and industry sector analysis to ensure we maintain appropriate oversight.

    Training and Awareness

All employees receive training on modern slavery awareness and our zero-tolerance approach. This includes understanding the indicators of modern slavery, reporting procedures, and their responsibilities under our policies.

We provide regular updates on modern slavery legislation and best practices to ensure our team remains informed and vigilant.

    Effectiveness and Monitoring

We monitor the effectiveness of our anti-slavery measures through:

    • Regular supplier assessments and audits
    • Employee feedback and whistleblowing reports
    • Annual review of policies and procedures
    • Continuous improvement based on best practice guidance

    Statement Approval

This statement has been approved by the board of directors of Agora Consulting Solutions and will be reviewed annually to ensure it remains current and effective.
